Wife murdered in woods

LAMKA, December 29 2011:
An elderly woman, mother of five was found murdered yesterday, a day after her husband allegedly killed her during an altercation in the woods where they are burning charcoal for sale, sources said here today.
Identified as Tinlhing (40) and her husband left home on Tuesday to cut woods for charcoal in Muhoih area of Singngat sub-division.
The dead body was found by the villager during a mass search launched in the woods against the suspicious acts of the husband.
The decease body was found in a suspecting circumstances, with no blood stains on the ground.
The husband later on confessed that he killed his wife during a 'fight' happened in the woods.
Families of both the husband-wife reportedly arrived at an out-of-court settlement today with the former paid Rs 1.5 lakhs as compensation along with performing of other customary rites, added the sources.
