JAC of AMTUC and AMGEO to launch stir

The Joint Administrative Council (JAC) of All Manipur Trade Unions' Council (AMTUC) and All Manipur Govt Employees' Organisation (AMGEO) is all set to launch a series of agitation from October 26 if the State Government fails to comply with their demands.
Addressing media persons today at its office today, the JAC of AMTUC and AMGEO, Babupara, president Khaidem Mani said the committee submitted a 22 point ultimatum to the Chief Minister on October 10 demanding fulfilment of their demands.
The JAC's demand include the implementation of the 7th Central Pay in-toto revision and provision of all its benefits to all the State Government employees without delay.
The memorandum also demanded that the State Government employee be paid disturb area allowance.
The JAC of AMTUC and AMGEO will launch various agitation including indefinite cease work strike if the State Government fails to comply with their demands, he said.
State Government employees, workers, traders, pensioners and others have long been suffering due to the inefficiency of the Government, he added.
The press briefing was attended by other core committee members of the JAC of AMTUC and AMGEO.
