Dy CM graces Foundation Day

All Manipur Rickshaw Drivers and Pullers Welfare Association (AMRDPWA) celebrated its 16th Foundation Day with Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam as the chief guest at GM hall today.
AMRDPWA president Th Basanta, United Committee Manipur president Nabachandra Yumnam, PANDM president and AMRDPWA advisor Yumnamcha Dilipkumar, United People's Front president BM Yaima Shah and Ministry of Home Affairs Internal Security Advisor Dr Ch Manoranjan were the functional president and guests of honour of the function.
In his speech, Gaikhangam said that nobody knows what is written in one's fate.
As such, everybody must work hard in their respective fields to gain success, he said and added that there is need to be punctual as well.
Fortunately, there is no case of extreme poverty in the State, he said and added that very few people in the State are landless and homeless.
Saying that majority of the Manipuris wish to live with dignity and pride, Deputy CM Gaikhangam said that Manipuris would excel in different fields if they are able to add the sense of working habit to their pride.
