Imphal hits the hay with 4 books release

Surdhuni Ganga Mapanda, a travelogue written by Dr.Chongtham Jamini Devi was released today at the Mini Auditorium of Manipur Sahitya Parishad, Paona Bazar.
The book release programme was presided over by the President of Manipur Sahitya Parishad, Imphal, Prof E Dinamani Singh while former secretary of MSP, Imphal, BM Maisnamba reviewed the book.
At the same time, rhymes book titled Angangba Machugi Sindur, written by Yumnam Suren was released today at MEELAL office near IMC.
The function was graced by BM Maisnamba; MK Jeet, president of Emel and Sadokpam Tomba Mangang, president MEELAL.
Rhymes cassette in Manipuri and English was also released by the chief guest during the programme.
Meanwhile, a book of drama Ahanba Ningthou was released at Manipur Hindi Parishad Hall, Old Assembly Road, Imphal today under the auspices of Manipuri Literary Society.
The book originally written in Hindi by Jagdish Chandra Mathur is translated into Manipuri by Sougaijam Nabachandra Singh.
Dr Lanchenba Meitei, Professor of Hindi, DMCA and S Prahlad Sharma, President of MLS graced the book releasing function.
K Joymati Devi released her book, 'Anganba Lambee' today at Press Club in Majorkhul in the presence of Prof H Behari Singh, Convenor, MLAB, SahityaAkademi, New Delhi, L Iboton Singh, President, CFM and L Birenkumar Sharma.
