AR organises Multi Speciality Medical Camp at Sajik Tampak

Imphal, October 15 2014:
The 21 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) in collaboration with Manipur State Health Society organised a Multi Speciality Medical Camp at Sajik Tampak in Chandel district on 14 Oct 2014.In order to ensure maximum attendance and optimum utilisation of the medical facilities in the extremely remote regions of the state, free transport was also provided to the locals residing in the adjoining villages.
The camp was inaugurated by the Brigadier Gajendra Joshi, SM, Commander 28 Setcor Assam Rifles.
and over 510 locals availed free medical check- up cum treatment.
The panel of Doctor's who provided free medical treatment to include Dr W Chandrakant, Dental Surgeon (DH Chandel), Dr St Liulia Anal, Dental Surgeon(CHC Chakpikarong), Dr E Malemnganbi, AYUSH MO,(CHC Chakpikarong), Dr Pithar Thaman, AYUSH MO (CHC Chakpikarong), Dr Lakshmibai Devi, MO ( CHC, Chakpikarong) Dr Rosemary, MO (CHC, Chakpikarong), Dr Kesho S Moirangthem, DACO Chandel Dr Nando Singh, MD, (DH Chandel) from State Health Society, Manipur.
Asst Comdt (Dr) S Peter, Medical Officer of 21 Assam Rifles was the overall coordinator of the camp.
