Ten illegal burmese citizens arrested at Guwahati

Imphal, November 07 2012:
Yesterday the GRP at Lumding arrested 10 Burmese citizens, namely Md Sahidur Rehman, Mahamullah, Rushna begum, Tahara begum, Yasmeen akthar, Abu saleikh, Jasmine akhtar, Taher mina, Reuwan along with a baby, from its railway station.
The people arrived from karimganj aboard Agartala express train.
The GRP informed that these people fled
their country after being no longer able to bear the Burmese junta government's atrocities.
They arrived in Agartala from Dhaka after crossing over to Bangladesh from the western border at ukhia, then took a train to lumding from karimganj, but were arrested at the railway station.
They failed to provide any form of documents which
allows them to India.
They confessed that their sole motive of coming to India was to get a job and have a better live.
They also said that they're fed up with the atrocities done upon them the junta government and it's the reason the fled their country.
All have been sent to jail custody.
