Shirui Govt High School burgled for second time

In less than two month's time, the burglars broke into the Shirui Government High School for second time and properties worth lakhs of rupees were found stolen.
On Wednesday morning, the burglary was discovered by the school chowkidar when he reported for duty.
Both the locks of the two doors leading to the computer room of the RCC building was broken opened.
The missing items include computer sets, projector and scanner.
The school kitchen, which is located next to the main building, was also broken in.
The school is situated on the outskirts of the village.
Locals said the neighbours heard a commotion among the masons on till the late hours of Tuesday.
Sources informed that the suspicion is on the masons engaged at the construction of new school building.
This morning, seven out of the 10 masons were also found absent.

Earlier, the same computer room was broken in on September 16 and three computer sets were stolen.
In this connection, an FIR was lodged at Ukhrul police immediately after the incident.
Till date, no breakthrough has been
made so far.
SGHS teachers expressed displeasure over the inaction of Ukhrul police and alleged that they did not even bother to conduct spot enquiry.
