Razai Khullen villagers appeal to withhold PMGSY bills

The villagers of Razai Khullen village appealed to the Chief Engineer of MSRRDA to withhold all pending bills of the ongoing PMGSY road construction from Razai K/N to Razai K/L Until their demands are fulfilled.
The villagers of Razai Khullen have repeatedly appealed to the concerned contractor to start the road construction of PMGSY before the rainy season without any visible result till date.
As a part of their protest against the erring contractor, Razai Khullen villagers staged a demonstration yesterday in their village urging the contractor to start the road construction and to complete the work within the allotted completion time of February 2022.Speaking to media person, the Headman, VS Mashivam of Razai Khullen village informed that a memorandum had been submitted on the same day to chief Engineer of MSRRDA through the Deputy Commissioner, Ukhrul.
In the memorandum, the villagers urged the Chief Engineer to withhold all the pending bills of PMGSY road construction "Package No MN009178 Phase XI (3RT) from L023 Razai K/N to Razai K/L" spanning a distance of 8 km stretch that connects Razai Khullen with National Highway.
It may be mentioned that the project is funded by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.
