Mega medical camp ends

The two day mega medical camp facilitated by 31 Assam Rifles under the military civic action programme concluded today with the presentation of various items including solar street lights and computers.
The medical camp commenced yesterday with 31 AR CO Col Ravroop Singh inaugurating the event at Moreh Public Ground and Netaji English School.
Held under the joint supervision of eight civilian doctors and three from the Assam Rifles, locals as well as individuals from the neighbouring Myanmar attended the medical camp.
Moreover, cultural troupes displayed Meitei and Kuki traditional dances as a part of the event's inaugural programme.
Meanwhile, chief of Govajang village Thangkhopao Kipgen received four solar street lights presented by the AR unit on behalf of the villagers today.
For Netajit Memorial School, the 31 AR donated seven computer sets which were received by its principal KBS Maniam.
On the otherhand, two 500 litres Sintex portable water reservoir, three inverters and nine CFL bulbs have been donated by the AR unit to Jehova Jiri Children's Home.
