Owing to indisposition of C Upendra Singh, who is the chairperson of the one-man Manorama Death Inquiry Commission, the findings of the probe could not be submitted to the State Government today.
However, under medication, Upendra is reported to be working to make the final correction of his report at the premises of State Guest House.
Sources in the State-sponsored panel said that the chairperson would hand over the report either to the Chief Minister or the Chief Secretary within the next couple of days.
The retired District and Session judge had some backs back decided to furnish the report today.
The mortal remains of the 32-year old Thangjam Manorama Devi, inflicted with multiple bullet wounds was recovered in the morning of July 17 from near Laipharok Maring Village.
She was picked up by the troopers of 17 Assam Rifles from her Bamon Kampu Mayai leikai residence the previous night.
