Imphal, August 17 2015:
The Joint Students' Union of Government Higher Secondary School has clamped an indefinite ban on Herbert School and Special Regular English Academy, Nambol for disregarding the boycott stir launched by the Union on all educational institutions and coaching centres.
The ban will be effective until the authorities of the two schools tender an apology through the media, according to a statement issued by the JSUGHSS.
The JSU also reiterated to sustain its agitation until a Bill for the protection of indigenous people of the State is brought out and fitting punishment is given to the culprits involved in the killing of Sapam Robinhood.
It also urged all concerned not to conduct coaching classes when some students are on hunger strike as part of the ILPS demand movement.
