AIPMT State toppers commit to serve poor, needy

Thiyam Manjita, the State topper of the All India Pre-Medical Test exam 2015, said she had firm commitment to serve the poor and needy.
Manjita, daughter of T Nilamani and Binolata of Khurai Ningthoubung Leikai, had secured 11th position in her Class X State board exam from Tiny Tots' Unique School and completed Class XII exam from Herbert School with 85 pc.
In a chat with TSE, doctor aspirant Manjita credited her success to parents, school teachers and her teachers at MECI and her friends.
She said maintainance of routine, self-confidence, determination, and perseverance paid great dividends.

Laishram Dominique who secured 2nd position among the applicants from Manipur for AIPMT 2015 says that he chose medical profession as he wishes to serve the poor.
Dominic who is currently in Tripura told The Sangai Express over telephone that he appeared the AIMPT for the third time this year.
He is the eldest of three siblings born to Dr Laishram Premananda and Dr Thokchom Jayshree of Keishamthong Hodam Leirak.
He studied up to Class X at Don Bosco School, Chingmeirong and completed Class XII from Harvard School.
"For my success in this year's AIPMT, credit must go to my parents and teachers of COMET", Dominique said.
Commenting on the ongoing pro-ILPS movement, Dominique opined that the movement would pay rich dividends in future even though it is causing immense troubles to students at the moment.
At the same time, Lukram Pushparani, who shared the second position of the AIPMT retest from the State said she is driven by the desire to help needy people in the remote and far-flung areas.
L Pushparani d/o L Biren of Kongpal Sajor Leikai finished Class X from Friendship Educational Academy, Khurai Tinseed road and Class XII from Herbert School.
She credited her success to her parents, teachers and friends.
Pushparani said that almost everything is possible to achieve if one has self-confidence.
