Only three test positive

Imphal, March 27 2022:
The State recorded only three positive cases and logged a daily positivity rate of 0.6 per cent out of 530 samples tested for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours.
The three positive cases belong to Imphal West (2) and Kakching (1) .
As there is no report of Covid related death during the last 24 hours, the death toll remains unchanged at 2120 .
On the other hand, three persons who were undergoing treatment for Covid-19 have been discharged from CCCs as they have recovered.
The cumulative number of Covid-19 positive cases in the State is 1,37,084 (general population 1,32,070 and Central security personnel 5,014) .
This figure includes 40 active cases (general population 39 and Central security personnel 1) and 1,34,924 active cases (general population 1,29,918 and Central security personnel 5,006) .
The recovery rate as on Sunday is 98.42 per cent.
A total of 281 D-type oxygen cylinders and 97 B-type oxygen cylinders were made available to different health facilities of the State yesterday.
Currently, 24 (out of 190) Covid beds of RIMS and another two (out of 300) of JNIMS are occupied.
Taking into account 2090 doses jabbed yesterday, the cumulative number of Covid vaccine doses administered in the State has reached 27,78,316 (first dose 15,34,642, second dose 11,78,426 and precautionary dose 65,248) .
Till Saturday, 50.34 per cent of the State's total eligible population has been given both the first and second doses of Covid vaccine while 61.48 per cent has received the first dose.
