Manipur logs lowest spike since April 27 with 195

Imphal, September 12 2021:
Two more individuals have succumbed to the COVID-19 pandemic pushing the death toll to 1811 .
Of the two latest victims, one had co-morbidity while the other had been administered 1st dose of Covid vaccine.
Both of them belonged to Imphal West.
During the last 24 hours, 2995 samples were tested for COVID-19 and 195 were confirmed positive which puts the daily positivity rate at 6.5 per cent.
This is the lowest spike on a single day since April 27, when Manipur logged 175 cases.
The new positive cases were confirmed at RIMS (17), JNIMS (13) and other testing centres (165), informed a press release issued by Additional Director (Health) and COVID-19 Common Control Room spokesman Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang.
The newly infected people are residents of Imphal West (102), Imphal East (41), Thoubal (11), Bishnupur (4), Kakching (1), Ukhrul (7), Churachandpur (5), Chandel (9), Senapati (3), Tamenglong (3), Tengnoupal (2), Noney (1), Pherzawl (3) and Kangpokpi (3) .
Meanwhile, 293 people were discharged during the last 24 hours from home isolation (123), RIMS (8), JNIMS (11), CCCs (105) and CHICs (46).The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,17,094 (general population 1,12,923 and Central security personnel 4,171) .
It includes 2,747 active cases (general population 2,708 and Central security personnel 39) and 1,12,536 recovered cases (general population 1,08,409 and Central security personnel 4,127) .
The recovery rate as on Sunday is 96.11 per cent.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1369 D-type oxygen cylinders and 247 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of the State.
The cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the State so far is 15,93,856 (1st dose 12,00,549 and 2nd dose 3,93,307) and it is inclusive of 3036 doses administered yesterday.
The number of COVID-19 beds presently available are RIMS (general beds 184, ICU beds 23), JNIMS (general beds 65, ICU beds 9), Iland Hospital (general beds 42), Little Flower School (general beds 20, ICU beds 6), CMC (general beds 29, ICU beds 4), Iboyaima Hospital (general beds 27, ICU beds 3), Jivan Hospital (general beds 16, ICU beds 8), Shija Hospital (general beds 41, ICU beds 30) and Raj Medicity (general beds 80 and ICU beds 18) .
