Imphal, October 30 2015 : In the North East Zone Inter state Badminton Championships 2015 Men's Single, the semi finals will be played between W James Singh (Manipur) and Laa Talar (Arunachal Pradesh) and RK Menojit (Meghalaya) and Hirakyoti Neog (Assam) .

In the quarter finals, W James beat Ram Najiar of Meghalaya 21 – 15, 21-13 while Laa Talar beat Anjan Buragohain of Assam 21-17, 21-8.RK Menojit of Meghalaya beat Taliakum of Meghalaya 21-15, 21-12 while Hirakyoti Neog thrashed L Unilkumar of Manipur 21-7, 21-11 .

In the Women's Single, Ashmita Chaliha of Assam will play with Laa Yajum of Arunachal Pradesh in the first Semi finals whereas Assam's Kaberi Phukan will be in action with Angita Naorem of Manipur in the second semi finals.

Angita Naorem subdued Anlalhriatpuli of Mizoram 21-12, 21–18 in the quarter final game.

In the Men's Double, RK Cinir/W.James of Manipur will be playing with D Bora/H Neog of Assam in the First Semi Final of the Men's Double Event.

Roshan Rai/TP Serpa of Sikkim will play with Lalmuanawma/Samual in the second semi final.

Rk Cinir/James beat Joshep/Raju of Nagaland 21-9, 21-10 in the quarter final.

In the Women's Double, Somibala/Purnima of Manipur will play Chubanungla/Deepika in the First semi final and Dorthy/Warjri of Nagaland will play B.Konwar/K Phukan of Mizoram in the Second Semi Final.

For the Boy's Under 19 Singles, the Semi Finals Matches will be played between L Unilkumar Singh of Manipur and Jokom Ribya of Arunachal Pradesh and Laa Talar of Arunachal Predesh and Vl John of Mizoram.

In the Junior Mixed Double, Unilkumar/Somibal of Manipur will face the semi final play with Akshay Raito/Taring Yanja of Arunachal Pradesh in the Junior Mixed Double event.

In the Junior Girl's Double, Somibala/Purnima of Manipur reached the semi final of the Junior Girls' Double.

In the quarter final match, the pair beat D Das/M Bora of Assam 21-10, 21-11 .

All the semi final matches of the Championships will be played Saturday morning and the final matches will be held in the evening of the same day.
