Chineirang told the team that her husband was shot to death because he refused to "convert into Naga tribe" by force.
She and her five children have been reeling under hardships after her husband's death since he was the only bread earner of the family.
It has been more than two months since her husband was brutally killed but the family has not received a single rupee from the State Government said Chineirang.
She expressed dismay with the Government for not even trying to book the culprits.
"It is unfortunate that when a simple living person was brutally killed, the Government simply remains a silent spectator and does nothing to help the family," lamented Chineirang.
She further asked if there is any wrong when Aimol tribe wants to remain only as Aimol tribe and not aligned with any tribal conglomeration.
Chineirang also requested people from all walks of life to protect small communities from being harassed by larger communities.
Khomdram Ratan extended monetary aid to Chineirang during the visit.
The team included UPF President BM Yaima and NIPCO President Modun Maring besides others.
