1st Women's Inter Club Futsal Championship : Babyrani, Ranjibala guide ESU to 25-3 win over Khuman FA

Imphal, March 28 2025: Eastern Sporting Union (ESU), Palace Compound overwhelmed Khuman FA by 25-3 goals in the 1st Women's Inter Club Futsal Championship being underway at KIYC Artificial Turf Ground, Kshetrigao.

Thoidingjam Babyrani (8', 11', 13', 14', 16', 20', 25', 26', 27', 32') scored ten goals alone and Wayenjam Ranjibala (7', 9', 9', 14', 30', 31', 34', 38') added eight goals to set up the huge win for ESU .

Gurumayum Anjali (10', 24', 29'), Hijam Puspa (33', 36'), Gurumayum Radharani (2') and Kongkham Priyangka (18') also found their names on the scoresheet for ESU as Pheiroijam Lanchenbi (10'), Yumnam Sushima (23') and Senjam Dasila (28') were on target for Khuman FA .

Earlier in the day, FC Imphal thumped YWC-Th 12-3 and YWC-L crushed Manipur United FA 16-5 .

Laishram Bijeya (3', 17', 22', 39') and Khumukcham Bhumika (15', 16', 30') led the scoring for FC Imphal as Thingbaijam Sanjita (4'), Thingujam Bhumika (13'), Thongam Reshma (18'), N Sangbanabi (36') and Amom Nanao (37') added a goal apiece.

For YWC-Th, Wairokpam Monika scored twice (6', 11') and Laitonjam Linthoi added one (20') .

Meanwhile, Chingangbam Binomala (7', 8', 13', 18', 19', 25', 39') scored 7 goals alone while Konthoujam Reena (3', 10'), Yumnam Laxmi (12', 14') and Wairokpam Daina (6', 36') scored two goals apiece and Yumnam Anjali (26') and Konthoujam Daina (20') added one goal each to hand YWC-L a 16-5 win over Manipur United FA .

Herina Basumatary (14', 19') and Thokchom Yaiphabi (6', 36') and Mongjam Pusparani (3') on the other hand scored for Manipur United FA as Thokchom Olivia of the same team conceded an own goal in the 30th minute.
