KASC, PTRC stretch winning streaks in 3rd U-19 Men's One Day Trophy

KASC, Khomidok eased to fourth straight victory as PTRC cruised to third win on trot in the ongoing 3rd U-19 Men's One Day Trophy today.
KASC registered their fourth Group B victory today at Khangabok Cherapur Public Ground by crushing REYS, Khwai Nagamapal by 156 runs courtesy of Bm Afsar's all round performance.
Md Alfash(71 off 76), Bm Afsar (39 off 29), and Md Rahis Khan (34 off 27) led KASC to 262/7 in 40 overs after opting to bat first and rode on Bm Afsar (4/45 in 5.3 overs), Md Sakif Hussain (3/14 in 2 overs) and Md Rahis Khan (2/18) set up REYS collapse at 106 in 13.3 overs.
Kangujam Ringku (3/30 in 8 overs) and Mustakim (2/46 in 8 overs) shared five wickets for REYS earlier in the first innings before Ringku quick-fired 69 off 34 balls in a lost cause.
Bm Afsar who starred with both the bat and ball was adjudged player of the match.
KSDO end two-game losing streak
In the Group A match staged at Khudeiband Lampak, KSDO ended their two game losing streak with a 7 8-run victory against TCMDC, Thongju.
Electing to bat first, KSDO posted 159 for all wickets down in 32.2 overs courtesy of Kh Abu Sufiyan's 83-ball 63 who also picked three wickets to aid Md Riyajuddin (5/16 in 7.2 overs) in dismantling TCMDC for 81 runs in 18.2 overs.
Md Riyajuddin was adjudged player of the match.
AKSDO post third win in four matches
In the Group C match staged at Moijing Public Ground, AKSDO, Khangabok crushed FORCE, Kshetrigao by 171 runs for the third win in four matches.
Put in to bat first, AKSDO posted a huge total of 278 runs for 4 wickets in 40 overs thanks to a century from Laishram Samson (101 off 112 balls; 9 fours and 1 six) and half centuries from Bishorjit (60 off 68 balls; 6 fours) and Elangbam Chingamba (57 off 55; 7 fours) before Chingamba Elangbam enjoyed a fifer (5/ 17 in 7.2 overs) to bowl FORCE out for 107 runs in 24.2 overs.
Chingamba who hit a half century and picked five wickets to seal the huge win for AKSDO was adjudged player of the match.
PTRC ease to third win
Elsewhere at Lairenjam Public Ground, PTRC, Patsoi cruised to third straight Group E victory by beating Blue Hawk, Khurai by 30 runs.
Salam Richie added 68 off 65 balls to help PTRC post 210/10 in 40 overs before restricting Blue Hawk to 180/5 thanks to economical bowling performances.
Wangmayum Farid (2/29), Akoijam Dhitaraj (2/40), Seram Nandakishore (2/26) and Moirangthem Spolar (2/ 24) all shared two wickets apiece for Blue Hawk before they ended up gathering 180 despite sensible batting performances from Nitish 48, S Nandakishore 33 and M Romesh 33 not out.
Pheiroijam Tamarland (2/ 46), Ng Shivason (1/23), L Jackson (1/42) and P Henba (1/46) were among the wickets for PTRC.
Salam Richie was adjudged player of the match.
