Sepaktakraw: SAIRC-B, YAWA-A teams, IMSUC, PUC-A prevail in semis

Imphal, April 25 2025: SAIRC-B got the better of YAWA-A in the senior women's semifinals at the 24th Mini, 26th Sub-Junior, 26th Junio and 39th Men's & Women's State Level Sepaktakraw Championships 2025 .

The match started with SAIRC-B asserting their dominance, taking the first set 15-11 with sharp spikes and solid defence.

However, YAWA-A roared back in the second set, displaying excellent teamwork to win 15-9 and force a decider.

SAIRC-B, unfazed by the setback, regrouped and delivered a commanding performance in the third set, cruising to a 15-6 win to advance to the final.

Meanwhile, in the junior girls' regu semifinals, YAWA-A edged past PUC-B in a tightly contested match.

YA-WA-A narrowly won the first set 17-16 .

PUC-B responded strongly in the second set (15-10), but YAWA-A held their nerve in the third, sealing the win 15-12 in a tense finish.

IMSUC, on the other hand, staged a remarkable comeback to beat PUC.

After a slow start, losing the first set 6-15, IMSUC turned the tables completely, dominating the next two sets (15-6, 15-11) with aggressive serves and tactical play to secure a spot in the final.

Later, in a hardline match, PUC registered a narrow victory against PUC-A in a fiercely competitive match, winning 8-15, 15-8, 15-13 .

The sub-junior boys' semifinals saw YAWA-A battle to a 15-12, 15-17, 15-8 win against HUDIC, while PUC-A comfortably defeated PUC-A ALSA-A 15-8, 15-6 to advance.
