1st Heibok T-20 Cricket Tournament PTRC beat YAC, CYCLONE romp to 165 runs victory over KIYC

PTRC, Patsoi registered a 34 runs victory over YAC, Yaiskul in today's first match of the 1st Heibok T-20 Cricket Tournament staged at Langthabal Public Ground.
CYCLONE, Thangmeiband outclassed KIYC, Kshetrigao by a record 165 runs in the second match of the day.
The tournament is being organised by Langthabal Sporting Club under the aegis of Manipur Cricket Association.
PTRC, Patsoi who won the toss chose to bat first were able to post a total of 107 runs for 4 in 20 overs.
YAC side just managed to reach 73 runs for 9 in 16 overs to hand their rival a 34 runs victory.
Santosh of the winning side who came out in the middle order slammed the highest 37 runs for his team in 27 balls while Jotin who fielded earlier scored 29 runs off 48 balls.
Bidash of the same team also contributed 23 runs facing 27 balls to set up the target of 108 runs.
Jameson of YAC dismissed two in this inning in 4 overs offering 23 runs while Arnold and Joychandra picked one wickets each.
The chaseable target was put to an end as man of the match, Santosh enjoyed a 4-wicket haul and 4 overs were also deducted as YAC failed to report on time.
Pradeep also picked two wickets in this inning while maintaining a perfect economy at the same time.
Deepu who bowled 3 overs also claimed one wicket in this inning.
Somorjit of YAC who made 12 runs off 10 balls was the best they had today.
Joychandra and Jameson also contributed 10 runs and 8 runs each in the chase which ended at 73 runs in 16 overs.
The second match of the day was more entertaining as Narsingh of CYCLONE slammed an outstanding 116 runs to teach bowlers of KIYC a big lesson today.
KIYC were made to regret their decision to bowl first as they failed to contain Narsingh and Sourav who emerged scoring machines for the Thangmeiband side today in the first inning.
Narsingh started off the inning hammering 116 runs off 63 deliveries, the best so far in the tournament followed by his compatriot, Sourav slamming 56 runs splendidly in 30 balls.
CYCLONE were able to rack up 213 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs.
Abdul of KIYC picked 4 wickets in 4 overs but could not prevent CYCLONE from making 42 runs off his deliveries.
Anish and Abdulla also picked 1 wickets each in the first inning.
In reply, KIYC slumped to just 48 runs for 10 in 15.5 overs handing CYCLONE a huge 165 runs victory.
Kabil who scored 18 runs off 23 balls was the best KIYC had today.
Narsingh, who was in unstoppable form was declared man of the second match.
SCCC, Singjamei will face YWC, Patsoi in a Group A league match tomorrow at 8 am while CHAMP, Khagempalli will take on PTCC, Patsoi in a Group C league match latter in the afternoon.
