YAS lines up Sepaktakraw and Football trials for 7th Khelo India Youth Games

Imphal, April 16 2025: The Department of Youth Affairs and Sports (YAS) will be conducting selection trials for State Sepaktakraw (boys and girls) and Football (girls) teams in view of the upcoming 7th Khelo India Youth Games to be hosted by Bihar from May 4 to 15 .

Sepaktakraw trial will be held from April 18 to 19 at Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak while the girls football team trial will be held on April 20 at Main Stadium, Khuman Lampak, said Director YAS in a notification.

Athletes born on or after January 1, 2007 are eligible to participate in the trial, it said.

Sepaktakraw athletes should report by 10 am and football players should report by 8.30 am on their respective trial dates along with relevant personal documents viz- Aadhaar card, Matriculation certificate, birth certificate , school bonafide certificate, it said.
