L Sharat Singh Memorial Inter Club Women's Futsal MPSC hold YWC-L to 6-6 draw as FC Imphal, ESU script victories

Imphal, April 02 2025: MPSC fought back to hold Young Welfare Club, Langthabal (YWC-L) to a 6-6 draw as FC Imphal, Mayaikoibi and ESU, Palace Compound registered comprehensive victories in today's matches of the ongoing Loitongbam Sharat Singh Memorial 1st Inter Club Women's Futsal Championship.

In the 10th match of the tournament, YWC-L enjoyed a 6-3 first half lead but MPSC rallied back in the second half to salvage the 6-6 draw.

Yumnam Laxmi (9', 20') and Chingangbam Binomala (1', 18') scored two goals apiece for YWC-L as Wairokpam Daina (6') and Sarangthem Alena (14') added a goal apiece.

For MPSC, Kshetrimayum Naocha scored a treble (6', 27', 40') as Thokchom Devajani (4'), Salam Pramodini (17') and Salam Rinaroy (37') scored a goal apiece.

In the 11th match, FC Imphal crushed Khuman FA 36-3 as Thingujam Bhumika (1', 21', 23', 26', 30', 32, 34', 35', 36', 37'), Bijeya Laishram (13', 15', 17', 18', 21', 24', 25', 28', 33'), and Khumukcham Bhumika (2', 6', 9', 22', 24', 29', 32', 40') ran riot.

Thingbaijam Sanjita (7', 19'), Silky Nong (3', 8'), Thongam Reshma (3', 10', 11'), Amom Nanao (14') and Goldy Ngasepam (38') also found their names on the scoresheet for FC Imphal as Aisha Sidika (7'), Senjam Dasila (9') and Yumnam Sushima (31') scored a goal apiece for Khuman FA .

Later in the 12th match, Wayenbam Ranjibala (1', 8', 10', 23', 31') scored five goals to guide ESU to 11-7 win over Manipur United FA, Sangaiprou.

Athokpam Luxmi (4', 6'), Thoidingjam Babyrani (3',12') and Gurumayum Anjali (5', 28') also found the target for ESU as Mongjam Pusparani (8', 15'), Herina Basumatary (24', 25', 38'), Golmei Abem Kabuini (27') and Laishram Malemnganbi (32') scored for Manipur United FA .
