3rd MNCA U-19 Men's One Day Trophy begins

Imphal, April 16 2025:
The third edition of MNCA U-19 Men's One Day Trophy began today at four different venues under the aegis of the Manipur Cricket Association (MNCA) .
The opening day of the tournament saw KASC, Khomidok; ESU, Wangkhei Palace Compound; RCA, Lilong and PCC, Mayaikoibi register wins.

KASC beat SHADOW, Thangmeiband by 18 runs in a rain curtailed match.
SHADOW racked up a competitive total of 270 runs for 5 wickets in 40 overs and KASC were 233/5 after 34.1 overs when rain interrupted the game.
KASC emerged victorious by 18 runs via VJD method that reduced the target to 216 runs in 34.1 overs.
Elsewhere at Model Hr Secondary and Oriental College ground, ESU registered a 9-wicket win by chasing down a target of 53 runs in 11.1 overs against TCMDC, Thongju Part II Pechu Lampak.
At Khudeiband Lampak, RCA bundled out Al-Ameen for a meagre total of 84 runs in 28 overs courtesy of Zuned (4/13) and Zamir Khan (4/23) before Md Alfash (51 off 27) and Md Safwan (22 off 18) produced an unbeaten first wicket partnership to finish off the chase in 7.3 overs.
At Lairenjam Public ground, PCC defeated AKSDO by 3 wickets as they bowled out toss winners AKSDO for 106 in 36.4 overs before cruising to the winning 108 in 30.4 overs.
