Imphal, July 05 2018: SCCC, Singjamei; TRAU, Kwakeithel and Model Club, Chingamakha secured huge wins over their respective rivals in today's league matches of the ongoing 2nd MCA Luwangpokpa T-20 Trophy at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, Luwangsangbam.

After a 4-wicket win over FORCE yesterday, SCCC, Singjamei today stamped their dominance with an 8-wicket over UCC, Uripok in a Group C league match.

UCC elected to bat first and posted a paltry 60-run target for 9 wickets in 15 overs through runs scored by Rajbabu (10), Republic (8) and Arnold (8) .

Sandeep and Sana proved hazardous to UCC batsmen as they claimed 3 wickets apiece while Nanao and Denin add more teeth the SCCC's bowling attack taking down 2 wickets and 1 wicket respectively.

The chase was quite quick and easy as SCCC's Kishan single handedly did the half job while Shivansu added another 7 runs before they reached the target in 9.5 overs losing two wickets.

Republic and Sarwan of UCC picked up one wicket each in this innings.

Sandeep Chakraborty of SCCC was adjudged man of the match.

TRAU Vs KSDO Rohit and Saroj manned the batting and bowling attacks respectively in the first Group D league match to help TRAU thrash KSDO, Kiyamgei by 10 wickets.

KSDO who opted to bat first were restricted to a meagre 59 for all wickets down in 16.2 overs as TRAU's Saroj (man of the match) enjoyed a 6 wicket haul.

Jahangir and Rameez managed to get their names on the scoresheet for their 14 and 8 contributions before they were bundled out.

Abaz of TRAU also claimed 2 wickets in this innings while Sinate and Bobin also picked up one wicket apiece.

The second inning saw Rohit took his turn and blazed off a half century off 23 balls, one of the quickest, while Domba covered the remaining work by scoring 10 runs in 12 balls and reached the target in just 5.5 overs.

Model Club Vs PSC In another Group D league match staged today, Bishorjit ran through the batting line up of PSC, Khuyathong to give Model Club, Chingamakha a huge 7 wicket win.

Batting first, PSC's Bungoraj and Gauro scored 23 runs and 22 runs each as they set a 65-run target losing 9 wickets in 20 overs.

Bishorjit scalped three wickets to contain the strike rate of the Khuyathong side while Bijaykumar, Biteshwor, Shubham and Iboyaima claimed one wicket to aid the bowling attack.

In response, Model Club lost three wickets to reach the target in 10.2 overs.

Viking (20), Abhishek (14), Karnajit (10) and Shubham (14) worked together well to hand PSC a huge defeat.

PSC's Kala, Prasanta and Bungoraj picked up one wicket each in this innings.

Bishorjit of Model Club was named man of the match for his three wicket haul in the first innings.
