Imphal, April 03 2025: TCMDC, Thongju rode on Thoudam Ningthoisana's exemplary bowling performance to seal a comfortable 71-run victory against YPHUC, Lalambung in a Group A match of the 1st U-23 Women's One Day Trophy.

YPHUC won the toss and opted to field first this morning at Kongba Dhobi Lampak and saw TCMDC amass 145 runs for all wickets down in 22.2 overs.

YPHUC however slumped to 74 all out within 20.3 overs in the chase to hand TCMDC a 71-run victory.

Athokpam Tennis 33 off 25 and Anoubam Inao 21 off 20 led the scoring for TCMDC in the first innings as they got 49 extras from YPHUC bowlers.

YPHUC skipper Tongbram Nilky returned with the best bowling figures of 4/36 as Loktongbam Terina (2/20) and Eriklembi Soubam (2/41) shared another four wickets.

In reply, Tongbram Nilky emerged highest run getter on 26 off 22 balls for YPHUC as Ningthoisana (4/10 in 5.3 overs) and Yensembam Nikita (3/12 in 7 overs) ripped apart their batting line up.

Thoudam Ningthoisana was eventually adjudged player of the match.
