3rd MNCA U-19 Men's One Day Trophy : KASC post third win on trot, Blue Hawk seal second win

KASC, Khomidok clinched their third win by thrashing THAU, Thangmeiband by 8 wickets while Blue Hawk, Khurai overwhelmed SSC, Porompat by 245 runs for the second win in the ongoing 3rd MNCA U-19 Men's One Day Trophy.
At Khudeiband Lampak, KASC bundled out toss winners THAU for 115 runs in 32.5 overs and cruised to the winning 121 in 14.2 overs to seal their third Group B victory on the trot.
Leishangkhong Maqubul Fida Ali (3/30 in 6 overs) and Bm Afsar (2/15 in 6.5 overs) led the THAU demolition job despite Konthoujam Rohan 36 off 85 and Khundrakpam Bidyananda 19 off 35 trying their best to keep things intact.

Notably 6 THAU batters departed on duck including both the openers in this innings that also saw Md Sakif Hussain (1/13) and Mehetab (1/4) of KASC claiming a wicket apiece.
In the chase, KASC lost L Maqubul Fida Ali on a 4-ball duck in the first over but Md Ali Karim 49 off 30 and Md Alfash (23 not out off 37), forged a 73-run partnership for the second wicket to take the team closer the victory.
Alfash and Bm Afsar 27 not out off 15 then gathered another 47-run for the third wicket to seal the victory.
Bm Afsar who picked two wickets and added unbeaten 27 was adjudged player of the match.
Meanwhile, Blue Hawk extended their winning run to two games in the Group E league competition by crushing SSC at Moijing Public Ground.
Opting to bat first, Mayangmayum Farid blazed off 141 off 83 balls on the back of 20 fours and 4 sixes while Moirangthem Romesh (35 off 43) and Wangmayum Mukram (45 off 16) added 80 runs to inspire Blue Hawk a massive 316 total for all wickets down in 39 over.
Moirangthem Romesh (3/24 in 8 overs), Akoijam Dhitaraj (3/12 in 4 overs) and Nandakishor (3/22) then ripped apart SSC batters in response and set up their collapse at 71 within just 17 overs.
Nadir (3/53), Amir Raj (3/73) and Aribam Farhad Suhail (2/45) of SSC shared 8 wickets in the first innings before Nadir topscored with an unbeaten 27 off 16 balls in the dismal chase.
Wangmayum Farid who starred with the bat for Blue Hawk was adjudged player of the match.
At Lairenjam Public Ground, YUCC, Kwakeithel Moirangpurel sealed a narrow 1-wicket win over SU, Sagolband and opened their Group D account after their first game loss.
Put in to bat first, SU slumped to 108 all out in 26.1 overs despite RK Philan's 75-ball 59 as Oinam Shresth (4/16 in 3.1 overs) and Ningthoujam Rahulkumar (3/24 in 7 overs) ran riot.
Chasing 109 for the win, YUCC were reduced to 98/9 in 21 overs with Keisham Anderson collecting 5 crucial wickets alone (5/18 in 6 overs) before rain interrupted and the target was reduced to 98 in 29 overs via VJD/ other method.
Eventually YUCC were declared winners by 1 wicket.
In a Group A match staged at Khangabok Cherapur Public Ground, AMCA, Thoubal thrashed TCMDC, Thongju Part II Pechu Lampak by 113 runs for their second win in three matches.
Asked to bat first, AMCA racked up 197/7 in 40 overs thanks to Md Anash's unbeaten 78 off 91 and SS Albash's 66-ball 40 before Md Yakin enjoyed a fifer (5/15 in 4.1 overs) to set up TCMDC collapse at 84 within 19.1 overs.
Wrecker-in-chief Md Yakin was eventually adjudged player of the match.
