Weightlifter Epham Quasar Khanam claims gold medal

Imphal, April 24 2025: All Meitei Pangal Students' Union of Manipur (AMPSUM) has expressed its heartfelt congratulations to weightlifter Epham Quasar Khanam for securing a gold medal at the 4th Arunachal State Games 2025, held from April 18 to 22 .

Khanam earned the top podium honour in the 64kg weight category, achieving a combined lift of 163kg.A native of Awang Leikai, Epham Quasar Khanam is the daughter of Mohammad Rahman and Akbari Lakizan Shahni.

In a statement, AMPSUM Vice President Salman Khurshid conveyed the Union's pride in her outstanding accomplishment and extended best wishes for her continued success in future competitions.
