ASMITA City Table Tennis League 2025 commences in Thoubal

Thoubal, March 22 2025: The ASMITA City Table Tennis League 2025, jointly organised by DYASO Thoubal and Khelo India Centre KIC (TT) Thoubal, commenced on Saturday at the Indoor Stadium of the Thoubal District Table Tennis Association.

Held under the Khelo India initiative, the league aims to identify and nurture young female table tennis talent at the grassroots level.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mutum Mani Singh, president Thoubal District Olympic Association, Deven Moirangthem, DYASO Thoubal, Dr Okram Ibopishak Singh, former president Thoubal District Table Tennis Association (TDTTA), and Konsam Michael Singh, president TDTTA & retd asst director SAI (NERC) Takyel, Imphal.

The two-day event features around 35 participants competing across four age categories: Under-11, Under-13, Under-15, and Under-17 .
