CRPF organises Inter-Battalion Handball C'ship

Imphal, April 02 2025: The 8th Battalion CRPF organised the Inter-Battalion Handball Championship for the Ccpur Range at its headquarters in Bishnupur, with 12 teams participating.

Commandant Chandrashekhar inaugurated the event in the presence of officers, players, and personnel.

Competing battalions included BN 04, 08, 32, 58, 102 RAF, 129, 157, and 216, all demonstrating high morale, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.

Addressing the gathering, commandant Chandrashekhar emphasised that while winning is important, the essence of sports lies in participation, teamwork, and discipline.

He highlighted its role in fostering resilience and coordination-essential qualities for CRPF personnel.

Despite their demanding duties in Bishnupur and Churachandpur, all battalions actively participated, reflecting their dedication, said a release.
