AMFA names players for 5th phase selection trials

Imphal, March 22 2025: All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) has released the list of players selected for the 5th phase selection trials and coaching camp in preparation for the Swami Vivekananda U-20 Men's National Football Championship 2025 .

The championship is scheduled to be held in Chhattisgarh from April 10 to May 27, 2025.The selected players, comprising goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards, have been drawn from various clubs and districts across Manipur.

The final squad will represent the state in the prestigious national tournament.

The players picked for the 5th phase trials include goalkeepers Md Sahid Khan IYFC), Th Indrasen (NEROCA FC), and G Sanju (UPAA).

The defenders are Ng Jarish (SAIRC), O Vivekananda (Sainik School), W Armstrong (MFA), L Shyamsung (YOSC), Sh Narendra (RAU), Md Tauuddin (KIYC), L Nikesh (IYFC), Hungchor Zimik (IYFC), Sh Amitkumar (DSA, Kakching), S Johnny (Imphal East), L Lamjingba (DSA, Bishnupur), and Suziilo (ASUFII FA) .

The midfielders selected are K Rohit (YPHU), Kh Lamnganba (Imphal West), Th Carlos (MFA), Th Leon (DSA, Bishnupur), Md Abash (UPAA), Ringsangmi (ASUFII FA), Ch Akash (USA), Md Sarfarash (IYFC), W Jack (NESU), I Khambaton (FC Lamjao), Guithoubo (NEROCA), and Y Sachin Roy (MFA).

The forwards include L Bankim (United Chandel), K Lemba (TRAU), Yokmipam (DFA Ka-miong), Afridi (SAI-RC), Md Zahid khan (SAI-RC), and N Bidyachandra (Imphal East) .

The selected players are required to report on March 24, 2025, at 7 am at the Artificial Turf Ground, Lambong Thongkhong.

They must bring the following original documents: Date of Birth (DOB) certificate, Aadhar card, domicile/PRC/passport, and CRS number, according to an AMFA memorandum issued on Saturday.
