YVA vs Ishok FC in U-13 Boys Inter Club Football League title clash

Imphal, April 26 2025: Young Voluntary Association (YVA), Wangjing will lock horns with IshokFC, Bishnupur in the title clash of the U-13 Boys' Inter Club Football League Tournament organised by the All Manipur Football Association.

In the first semi-final match, YVA defeated MIUFC, Mayang Imphal by 3-2 goals to seal their place in the final.

YVA found the breakthrough after 10 minutes on the back of Laishram Bikash but MIUFC rode on Irengbam Subashchandra's brace (21', 24') to overturn the lead.

YVA however drew level through Ningthoujam Gokul in the 41st minute before Takhellambam Punshiba retained the lead in the 56th minute.

YVA then held on to their lead despite MIUFC mounting late pressure in their bid to draw level.

Ishok FC meanwhile beat Poloi FC, Chingarel 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 regulation time draw to set up the final date with YVA .

Poloi FC earned the lead early through Wahengbam Athoisana in the 3rd minute but Ishok FC cancelled out the lead through Yumnam Sanatomba in the 52nd minute.

As the two sides remained locked at 1-1 till the end of the regulation time, the winners were decided via penalty shootout where in Basanta, N Arunkumar, Y Rahul, W Kritiraj and Y Sanathoi scored from the spot for Ishok FC and Chinglemba, Th Victor, S Hanny and W Pari scored for Poloi FC .
