Imphal, April 24 2025: New Wangparal cruised past Khudei Khunou 5-1, while Old Wangparal secured a 2 -0 win over Khuringmul in Thursday's men's open football clashes of the 1st United Southern Area Inter Village Cup 2025, held at UNAPAL Football Ground in Chandel district.

New Wangparal's emphatic triumph was spearheaded by Khamson and Lungam, who each netted a brace.

Ruskin opened the scoring in the 3rd minute, before Khamson doubled the lead in the 8th minute.

Lungam extended the advantage in the 25th minute, and Khamson struck again just before half-time in the 43rd minute.

Lungam completed the rout in the 49th minute, leaving Kothil's 56th-minute consolation goal as the only reply for Khudei Khunou.

Meanwhile, Old Wangparal sealed their 2-0 victory over Khuringmul thanks to an own goal from Kh Esmel in the 48th minute, followed by a strike from M Mex in the 52nd minute.

In the veterans' fixtures, UBSA overwhelmed Kapaam in a 7-3 thriller, with Ngamneiril and Anand each scoring twice.

Khupneireng, Angar and Benjamin also found the net to complete the dominant display.

Litan triumphed 5-3 over UNAPAL, powered by a hat-trick from Thoithi, with Benjamin and Khupneirel adding a goal apiece to seal a convincing win.
