68th NSG Sepaktakraw : Manipur in U-17 boys quarterfinals

Manipur U-17 boys have made it to the quarterfinals of the 68th National School Games Sepaktakraw being underway at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium with two of two league stage win today.
Clubbed alongside Maharashtra and Rajasthan in Group A, hosts Manipur defeated Maharashtras 15-6, 15-7 in the opening match before defeating Rajasthan 15-6, 15-4 in the final league match this evening to seal their place in the quarterfinals.
In the Group B matches of the U-17 boys category competition staged today, Bihar beat Uttar Pradesh 15-12, 15-17 for the first win before beating Jharkhand 15-9, 15-5 to further extend their winning run.
In a Group C match, Nagaland defeated Tamil Nadu 15-8, 15-13 before Gujarat beat CBSE WSO 15-12, 15-3 in a Group D match.
As many as 15 teams clubbed into four groups are participating in the U-17 boys competition.
U-17 Girls : Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh top Group B and Group D
The second day of the 68th National School Games Sepaktakraw for U-17 Girls witnessed Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh completing league stage sweeps to finish group B and D winners respectively and qualify for the quarterfinals.
Uttar Pradesh who had beaten Rajasthan 15-8, 8-15, 15-4 and eased past Telangana 15-4, 15-3 for their second Group B win yesterday sealed their third straight victory by beating CBSE WSO 15-3, 15-4 today.
In another Group B match, Rajasthan defeated Telangana by 15-3, 15-7 margin.
Andhra Pradesh, who had beaten MP yesterday for the first win, meanwhile defeated Punjab 15-3, 15-12 for their second Group D win before defeating Assam 15-13, 15-10 for the third straight victory.
The day also saw Bihar who suffered their first game loss to Maharashtra yesterday, beat Jharkhand 15-3, 15-12 this morning for the first win before beating Vidya Bharathi 15-2, 15-2 for the second win in the third match to boost their quarterfinal hopes.
U-19 Boys : Manipur, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh stretch winning run
Hosts Manipur, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh stretch their winning runs today in the ongoing 68th National School Games for U-19 Boys participated by 16 teams.
Manipur earned their second Group B win today beating Tamil Nadu in straight sets (16-10, 15-3) as Bihar sealed their second Group A win by beating Punjab 15-6, 15-7 .
Uttar Pradesh in the meantime opened their Group D account this morning by beating Jharkhand 15-6, 15-7 before beating CBSE WSO 15-9, 15-4 later in the day.
In Group C matches staged today, Maharashtra beat Gujarat 15-5, 15-6 to kick off their campaign on a winning note before Telangana beat Gujarat 15-10, 15-3 for their first win in two matches.
