AKSDO, KASC, KSDO, PTRC romp in MNCA Men's U-19 Trophy

Imphal, April 26 2025: AKSDO, KASC, KSDO and PTRC produced commanding performances in Saturday's league matches of the 3rd MNCA Men's U-19 One Day Trophy 2024-25 .

AKSDO crushed FORCE by 171 runs at Moijing Public Ground.

Opting to bat first, AKSDO posted a formidable total of 278/4 in 40 overs, thanks to a century by Laishram Samson Meetei (101 off 112 balls) and supporting knocks from Bishopjit Mangang (60) and Chingamba Elangbam (57).FORCE's reply faltered as they were bundled out for 107 in just 24.2 overs.

Elangbam starred with the ball, claiming 5 wickets for 17 runs, sealing a comprehensive 171-run victory for AKSDO.

KASC enjoyed a 156-run drubbing of REYS in their clash at Public Ground, Khangabok Part-III Cherapur, Thoubal.

Batting first, KASC amassed 262/7, with Midalfash (71 off 76) and Ringku Kangujam (69 off 34) leading the charge.

REYS's chase collapsed dramatically as they were skittled out for 106 in 13.3 overs.

Bm Afsar (4/45) and Mohammad Sakif Hussain (3/14) were the chief destroyers, ensuring KASC's 156-run win. KSDO outclassed TCMDC by 78 runs at Khudeiband Lampak, Taothong (Lamshang) .

After opting to bat, KSDO posted 159 in 32.2 overs, with Khutheibam Abu Sufiyan top-scoring (63 off 83).TCMDC's response crumbled under KSDO's bowling attack, particularly Md Riyajuddin, who took 5 wickets for 16 runs, restricting TCMDC to 81 in 18.2 overs.

KSDO's 78-run victory highlighted their all-round dominance.

Elsewhere, PTRC beat BLUE HAWK by 30 runs.

Batting first, PTRC posted a competitive total of 210 all out in 40 overs, thanks to a stellar 68-run knock by Salam Richie (65 balls, 8 fours, 1 six).

Captain Tamarland Pheiroijam contributed 29, while Nitish (48) and Moirangthem Romesh Singh (33) were the standout performers for BLUE HAWK in reply.

BLUE HAWK's chase fell short at 180/5 in their allotted 40 overs.

PTRC's bowlers, led by Wangmayum Farid (2/29) and Akoijam Dhitaraj Singh (2/40), kept the pressure on, securing the win.
