Imphal, March 25 2025: A free eye screening & cataract surgery camp was conducted by Komol and Kumari (KnK) Foundation, Shija Eye Care Foundation and NPCB (NHM) at KnK Ideal School, Thanga Khoirom Ching on Tuesday.

In a release, KnK Foundation chairman Uttamkumar Ningthoujam informed that around 165 persons from Thanga, Keibul, Chingmei and Chandapur visited the camp for eye check-up.

Patients who needed cataract surgery were provided option to undergo free of cost cataract surgery, two-day stay at the hospital, it added, while stating that KnK will also arrange food for the patients during their stay at the hospital.
