Assam Rifles saves man bitten by snake

Imphal, May 05 2024:
Assam Rifles on Saturday provided lifesaving medical assistance to a male resident of Moirang village in Bishnupur district, who was bitten by a snake.
Heman Suren (65) bitten by snake over his right hand around 8.40 am, had swelling at the site of bite and was brought by relatives to the Company Medical Inspection Room at 9 am .
The medical staff examined and immediately provided necessary medical care, stabilising his condition.
The man is on the road to recovery after receiving prompt medical attention, said PRO IGAR (S) in a release.
