Imphal, April 25 2025: The Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) has informed all concerned that the 630 KVA Kwakeithel Sulabh Distribution Transformer under Central Sub-Division-1 of Imphal Electrical Division-1, was burnt on April 24, 2025 .

"Power supply to the consumers of the transformer will be affected until repair work is completed", said MSPDCL in a release.

The affected areas are Kwakeithel Bazar, Kwakeithel Akham Leikai, Kwakeithel Thokchom Leikai, some parts of Moirangpurel and Kwakeithel Laishram Leikai.

"The inconvenience caused to the public and consumers is highly regretted", it added.
