6 injured protestors still in hospitals

Imphal, September 22 2023:
Altogether six protestors, who suffered injuries in police crackdown during the 'mass court arrest' agitation on Thursday in pursuance of the demand for release of the arrested village volunteers, are still undergoing treatment at different hospitals.
Three of the six injured are at JNIMS hospital, two at Raj Medicity and one at RIMS hospital.
A total of 55 protestors were injured in tear gas shelling and barrel gun shots fired by police and RAF personnel during the Friday's protest while 11 security personnel were hurt in stone pelting and sling shots by protestors.
