Imphal, April 18 2015 : 21 Assam Rifles (AR) of 28 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) distributed four Solar Street Lights to village Phaisi; three Solar Street Lights to village MT Lhongjol and three solar street lights to village Khaikual of Chandel district on March 18, 19 & 20 last.

In a press note, PRO Lt Col Major Akhil Dhawan said projects under Civic Action Programme are under a time-bound plan and have always met their timelines.

40 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) also distributed four Solar Street Lights to Laupauchum village in Imphal East district on Mach 26.The press note further said that the AR effort will alleviate the sufferings of locals and drive them towards a bright and energetic future.
