Imphal, October 28 2015:
Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) on Wednesday announced to boycott holding elections in Thambal Marik College, Nambul indefinitely.
The association alleged that two contestants who are over aged were allowed to contest in the College's General Secretary Election against the guidelines given by the Director.
The association said that the election in the college can be held peacefully only after rejecting the candidates of Oinam Barun Singh (BA 5th semester) and Nameirakpam Kanta Singh (BA 1st semester).
The students association also warned of unwanted incidents if authorities held the election without rejecting the candidature of both the students and asked to bear the responsibilities to election authorities and teachers of the college.
