State BJP rolls up sleeves

As the Prime Minister's Office has already confirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would grace the closing ceremony of the ongoing Manipur Sangai Festival on November 30, BJP State unit is making hectic preparations to welcome the Prime Minister at the party's Nityaipat Chuthek office.
After attending the closing ceremony for around 45 minutes to one hour, Narendra Modi would hold a meeting with office bearers of BJP Manipur unit at their Nityaipat Chuthek office.
Selected district level office bearers, leaders of different mandals and cells would also attend the meeting with Modi.
The Prime Minister would give a brief speech to people present at the BJP office for around 10 minutes.
This would be followed by another brief speech by the BJP State unit president.
Narendra Modi would leave Imphal for Nagaland at around 5 in the evening.
The gathering at Nityaipat Chuthek would be restricted to just around 200 people for security reasons.
It is reported that the BJP State unit would submit a memorandum to the Prime Minister highlighting different major issues of the State during the upcoming visit.
