Imphal, October 26 2012: The 27 Assam Rifles of HQ 28 Sector organised an interactive session with the newly elected Pradhans and Members of Pangaltabi, Chairel and Wangoo Gram Panchayats at Pangaltabi on October 25, said a PRO IGAR (S) release adding that those present discussed on prevailing situation of the region.

Assam Rifles exhorted the Pradhans to come forward and take pro-active steps for the development of the state and to ensure peace and prosperity in the region.

Assam Rifles also promised all possible assistance in future ventures of the Pradhans and members which would be aimed towards the noble cause of improvement of the society, added the release.
