World Water Day observed

Imphal, March 05 2024:
World Water Day was observed by Joint Forest Management Committee (JFMC) and Wakha Primary School under the aegis of Directorate of Environment & Climate Change at the western range of Nongmaiching Hill on Tuesday.
The observance held under the theme 'Water for Peace' will continue on till March 7 .
Speaking on the occasion, School ex-head master Ch Joykumar Sharma informed that the observance at Nongmaiching Hill is aimed at raising awareness on conservation of the source of water from the said hill.
The observance will be held in various areas till March 7, he added.
