Chandel, December 08 2023: Eleven Naga tribes and apex tribal organisations of Chandel have declared their unwavering support and endorsement of Th Muivah's leadership for a final inclusive, acceptable and honorable solution to the protracted Indo-Naga political issue during a public consultative meeting held at Chandel District Headquarters today.

A statement issued by the Chandel Naga People's Organisation (CNPO) and bearing the signatures of the representatives of CNPO, NWUC, NCAC, NSUC, CNCF, Khoibu Tribe Union, Anal Tribe Union, Monsang Tribe Union, Aimol Tribe Union, Moyon Tribe Union, Chothe Tribe Union, Lamkang Tribe Union, Tarao Tribe Union, Kom Naga Tribe Union and Tangkhul Naga Tribe Union Chandel have also endorsed and declared their commitment to the ongoing Indo-Naga political talks to be based on the Framework Agreement signed on August 3, 2015 .

It may be noted that the public consultative meeting reviewed and explored various components that have reportedly hindered and delayed the peace process.
