112 Bn CRPF celebrates 35th Raising Day

112 Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) celebrated its 35th Raising Day on Wednesday with great fervour and enthusiasm at the Battalion headquarters in Kangpokpi.
The event was marked by a series of tributes, sports competitions and cultural events reflecting the battalion's rich legacy of service and sacrifice.
The celebration commenced with a tribute to the martyrs at the Battalion's martyrs memorial site led by commandant Ranjan Kumar Baruah.
Accompanied by gazetted officers, subordinate officers and personnel, Ranjan Baruah honoured the fallen heroes who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
In his address, Ranjan extended his heartfelt congratulations to soldiers and their families, while highlighting the glorious history and achievements of the battalion over the decades.
To mark the occasion, a series of spirited sports competitions were organised, fostering camaraderie and teamwork among the personnel.
The celebration also included cultural programme in the evening attended by DIGP (Ops), CRPF Range, Kangpokpi Manish Kumar Sachar as chief guest.
Commandant Ranjan Kumar Baruah and Kangpokpi SP Manoj Prabhakar also witnessed the event, wherein troopers presented cultural items.
