Imphal, April 21 2025: Assam Rifles organised a community outreach programme titled "A Day with Company Command er" at the Assam Rifles location in Lilong on April 17 which had the participation of 46 persons from the relief camp set up at Urup Arapti, Thoubal district for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP).

The day's activities included series of fun-filled games, promoting teamwork and providing a joyful respite from daily challenges.

According to a PRO IGAR (S) release, a medical camp was also organised aimed to address immediate healthcare needs and reinforce the Assam Rifles' commitment to the well -being of the local populace.

Events like "A Day with Company Commander" exemplify the Assam Rifles' dedication to community engagement, especially in regions affected by displacement and unrest.

By combining recreational activities with essential services the Assam Rifles continues to play a pivotal role in fostering trust and resilience within the communities they serve, said the PRO .
