Assam Rifles organises medical camp

Imphal, April 16 2025: With the aim to provide humanitarian assistance and promote healthcare in remote areas, Assam Rifles organised a medical camp at Gamphazol village under Khengjoi sub division in Chandel district.

According to PRO IGAR (S), the medical camp conducted by health experts of Assam Rifles had the participation of 82 civilians, including 31 women and 16 children, and availed complimentary medical consultation and treatment.

The medical team provided diagnostic and treatment services for various ailments, including respiratory/skin infections, fever and general health check-ups and distributed medicines to the needy patients.

The camp was well-received by the local population, who expressed their gratitude to Assam Rifles for organising the same, the PRO added.
