CRPF distributes water storage tanks to Tupul Part-Il villagers

As part of its-civic action programme, 86 Battalion CRPF provided water storage tanks to the villagers of Tupul Part-II village, Noney district, on Saturday.
The distribution programme was attended by W Nandini Devi, second-in-command 86 Battalion, other officers of the battalion, and chairman and secretary of Tupul Part-II village.
During the event, water storage tanks were distributed to needy villagers of Tupul Part-II village.
It may be recalled that a meeting was held with the Tupul Part-II villagers, who apprised the commandant 86 Battalion CRPF of their desperate need for water storage tanks to stock water during the hot and dry season.
In response to the villagers' request, assisted in arranging the distribution of water storage tanks to meet the local community's vital needs.
Chief guest W Nandini Devi, second-in-command of 86 Battalion, while addressing the gathering expressed his gratitude to the villagers, stating that the distribution of water tanks was done to help and develop the village and all the people living in Tupul Part-II village, as well as creating an atmosphere of goodwill and positive relationship with the people in the village.
The villagers may now store rainwater and groundwater from the hills for their consumption as well as for emergency purposes, she added.
The chairman and secretary of Tupul Part-II village, as well as the public, hailed the 86 Battalion CRPF's initiative and expressed their deepest gratitude, hoping that many more similar events would take place in the future.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the chief of the village, according to a press release from the 86 Battalion CRPF.
