Army provides books to displaced children

Imphal, March 28 2025:
As part of its ongoing commitment towards fostering education and providing relief to the needy, the Indian Army distributed books to 40 internally displaced children of MAA Foundation School, Skwatlian in Churachandpur district, to ensure that children affected by the ongoing situation do not lose access to learning opportunities.

According to PRO Defence, the course books covering various subjects and age groups were meant to bring hope and encouragement to the youth.
The initiative also underscores the Army's dedication to upholding peace, stability and the well-being of the people of Torbung Bangla relief camp.
Indian Army remains steadfast in its commitment towards assisting communities, extending security as well as humanitarian aid, the PRO conveyed.
