Bomb explodes at Jamsuan-Sahei road junction

CCpur, April 16 2025: For the second time, one bomb was exploded at Jamsuan and Sahei road junction in New Lamka area of Churachandpur district on Wednesday at about 1 am .

Notably, the spot where the bomb exploded is close to Zenhang Lamka cemetery, where an explosion took placed on April 4 around 9.45 pm .

Locals informed that they heard some miscreants coming on two-wheelers at about lam Wednesday and later heard sound of explosion not long after the miscreants left the area.

The explosion caused no casualty or damage but created fear among the locals.

Meanwhile, Elim village authority, Young Paite Association, Paite Tribe Council and locals strongly condemned the incident.

The Central Village Defence Force (CVDF) also strongly condemned the incident and vowed to carry out investigation on both the April 4 and April 16 incidents.
